I am writing this letter because I had an experience on Friday, October 16, 2009, with one of your dealerships (Grand Blanc Motorcars, Ltd.) that conformed the reason why I continue to purchase BMW vehicles and will continue to do so in the future,
While riding south Interstate 75, I received a sensor warning on my new BMW X5 - xDrive35d. The warning indicated that the left front tire was experiencing low air pressure. It was 5:45 p.m. and I immediate contacted the closest BMW dealer (Grand Blanc Motorcars, Ltd.). I was immediately put in touch with Tony Madary, BMW service [Manager]. Mr. Madary told me that the sensors on the cars were quite sensitive, but that while the dealership was closing at 6:00 p.m., he would stay to check out my vehicle when I arrived. Since I was close, I took him up on his offer.
It turns out that there was simply a 3 pound differential between the right and left front tires. Mr. Madary, however, checked all of the tires and checked the sensors to make sure that nothing else was wrong. The sensors were readjusted and I was sent on my way.
I have owned or leased BMW's since 1980. It is because of this level of dedication and service that I will continue to purchase and lease BMWs and recommend them to my friends.
Mr. Madary and the Grand Blanc Motorcars, Ltd. dealership should be commended.
